The back of the frame has 4 sawtooth picture hangers, so this plaque can be used vertically as pictured, or horizontal. Photos are inserted through the back of the frame. To personalize, twist the backing clips out from under the edge of the frame, open the backing, and insert your photos. When pictures are in place, twist the backing clips back under the frame to keep your photos secure. Highlight the reason for the award by customizing your own sticker or medallion to add to the frame. Medallions for these plaques are not included.
